Paris Fashion Week S 2012: Givenchy

Riccardo Tisci's talent resurfaced in style in his latest collection for Givenchy. Part tailored suits part fantasy outfits with tails, sheer panels and irregular forms, the collection was subtle and striking in the same time. With such a show, there should always be some strong personalities on the runway and among the regular models cast for the show we could also spot top model Giselle Bundchen or American stylist and designer Erin Wasson.

Among my favorite pieces are the pale pink suits with second-skin pants, the white mini dress with sheer horizontal panels, the black suit with a sheer panel on the skirt and an asymmetric jacket, the black leather suit with sheer racer back cutouts or the last sequined silver dress. It's very interesting to see some of the garments also from the back, because the detail level is extraordinary.

To me this is the BEST collection so far!!!! so diff from everything we saw on the other shows...
and did u see that the mermaid/underthe water theme is everywhere? even chanel did their runway inspired on it!
