The Chanel show created a chic aquarium for its audience and submerged everyone present into an underwater paradise of shells, coral reefs and seaweed, everything on the ethereal music of Florence Welch from Florence + the Machine. Florence, Karl Lagerfeld's close friend and muse, stood in a giant shell with a harp player beside her and delighted everyone with a breathtaking performance. Did you notice that in the first photo the shell is closed only to open later during the show to reveal its pearl - Florence?
The collection was so incredible that I don't even know where to start editing and what pieces to choose to show you, so I think I'm going to divide it into several posts so that you have time to take it all in. For now, here are some photos of the runway so you can get into the atmosphere, get a glimpse of some of the dresses and start dreaming!
