This series of fabulous editorials from the September issue of Vogue Paris ends with this amazing bohemian inspired editorial featuring Anja Rubik. The Polish supermodel dons hippie chic fringed dresses, flared trousers and fur hats from designers ranging form Giorgio Armani, Zac Posen and Dolce & Gabbana to Dior or Lanvin, all presented outdoors or in a stylishly decorated apartment that blends in well with the bohemian theme of the shoot. I can't wait to start seeing people on the street getting inspired by this modern hippie fashion!

Grand Air: Natasha Poly for Vogue Paris

Magazine: Vogue Paris September 2011
Model: Natasha Poly
Photographer: Hans Feurer

It seems that the September issue of Vogue Paris is full of incredible editorials! After the exclusive 20 page editorial featuring Charlotte Casiraghi, here is Grand Air - a mix of styles and colors, patterns and fabrics joined together in a so-called neo jungle spirit. The beautiful Russian model Natasha Poly is the star of this shoot featuring creations by Chanel, Hermes, Maison Martin Margiela and Taiana, where soft cashmere is mixed with rugged wool and fur, drawing inspiration from Navajo prints or raven plumage. We've seen a lot of fringed, fur and Navajo details on the runways and this shoot incorporates perfectly the spirit of this autumn!

I love her profile! Do you have a favorite photo in this editorial?

Charlotte Casiraghi for Vogue Paris

Photographer: Mario Testino
Styling: Emmanuelle Alt

The stunning heiress of Monaco, Charlotte Casiraghi, is the star of a 20 page editorial in the September Issue of Vogue Paris, donning creations by big designers, such as Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Balmain, Gucci, Isabel Marant, Versace and more. She is presented here wearing two Gucci creations, besides the blue chiffon dress (which I adored from the first second it stepped on the Milan runways) also a riding outfit, to celebrate the collaboration between her and the Gucci Riding Lines collection, whose image she is. The flawless looks and the perfect posture of the Princess work together perfectly to create an elegant and mysterious editorial shot by Mario Testino. Indian Inspiration

Thursday 18 August 2011

Mark Twain once said about India that it is "the land that all men desire to see, and having seen once, by even a glimpse, would not give that glimpse for the shows of all the rest of the world combined". I woke up in a colorful mood today and built this post around the first photo, who I thought was very intriguing and ethereal, she almost seems to be floating. The rest came naturally, as India is a fascinating country where every single aspect of life is so different from the Western world. I just love the color combinations, the rich fabrics and the jewelry they use! Here is my inspiration of the day:

If you liked the first three photographs you'll be in for a treat shortly with some more about a famous Indian photographer, so stay tuned!
