Paris Fashion Week: Lanvin

I've always been a fan of Alber Elbaz's dresses and this collection for Lanvin met my expectations. Despite a more sobre and dark start with flats and strong looks, towards the middle of the show the atmosphere changed with great skirts and dresses: flashy colors, patterns, crazy ruffles, mixes of materials and the flower-inspired head-pieces. I loved the mystery air brought by the hats and complicated jewelry he envisioned for all these creations, either with floral or geometric motives, but always striking. My favorite pieces were the structured skirts paired with sheer, flowy blouses, the colorful dresses and the shiny black dress.
