After the amazing show for Marc Jacobs I showed you yesterday, now it's time for the designer's collection for the Marc by Marc Jacobs label. Less dressy, but equally stunning, the runway show was full of color, flowy materials and very flattering shapes. For men we see the large loose trousers and the red accents once again, but also great patterns on the sweaters and sporty pants and as for the women, Marc Jacobs envisioned them in mid-calf dresses or skirts, high waisted trousers, belted suits, delicate tops and warm coats. Really interesting as well, also because it's been a pattern in a few shows and it's very present in the street style, was the combination of boots and socks. I really loved the playfulness of the elephant or goat patterns and of the colorful dots, all the shoes and especially the boots with the fur trimmings, the bags and the bold colors. Notice the tie clip on the model's ties, very understated, yet so chic! Very rare these days.
