The fall 2011 ad campaign for Givenchy is very interesting, as it takes the fierceness of the clothes as inspiration for the models' poses. If you want a perfect pose you go to the greatest models out there and so Ricardo Tisci chose Naomi Campbell, Kristen McMenamy, Natalia Vodianova and Mariacarla Boscono as spokespersons for this campaign.
The moody, feline inspired poses and the extravagant cushions work very well with the clothes that were chosen to compliment each of the model's styles and complexion. We see Kristen McMenamy's fair looks being enhanced by the neon yellow sweater or Naomi Campbell dressed all black. The menswear ads are consistent and showcase the same growling poses.

the yellow sweater and print skirt outfit is my favourite from the show. maybe because it was worn by my favourite model, Natalia Vodianova, on the catwalk. ;)

You're right CR, some of the expressions are a bit too much, like the male model and Naomi Campbell, but overall I really liked the idea of the campaign. It stands out in a good way I would say.
