Style profile: Giovanna Battaglia

Giovanna Battaglia has always been an inspiration for me: all the layering, all those accessories, the touch of a dazzling colour on a neutral outfit, she can take even the dullest piece of clothing and transform it into something fabulous! As I often say, style is not in the individual pieces, but in how you present them and she definitely is a pro regarding matching. Former model for D&G and currently editor for L'Uomo Vogue and freelance stylist, Giovanna Battaglia likes playing with different styles - from very simple feminine outfits, passing through the eccentricity of ruffles to end up with masculine touches, she is always inspiring and, maybe what's most important nowadays, she always looks fresh and unique, she forged her own identity. I have to add that she is one of those rare persons that doesn't wear something only once, if she likes it, she wears it. That's a powerful woman! I tried to gather some of my favourite looks, but as you can probably imagine it's hard to pick, so here are a few of her great looks:

And finally, I saved the best for last - Giovanna Battaglia's outfit for the latest Vogue masquerade ball celebrating 90 years of Vogue.
