The Fendi collection continued the colorful trend of the past few shows with very structured silhouettes and an interesting play between full and see-through fabrics. The general motif of the show was that of layered organza midi dresses, geometric lines and patterns slicing into degrade palettes. All the geometric lines, bands and panels worked into the organza dresses are of sheared mink, and yet the degree of workmanship of the garments is so impressive, that nothing appears to be too labored.
Among my favorite looks are the bright red and fuchsia mini dresses, the blue skirt-suit, the black and grey organza mini dress, the sheer fuchsia skirt paired with a blue top, the cobalt blue strapless dress, the bright red knee=length dress worn by Cara Delevigne and of course the red top with geometric shapes paired with a metallic skirt. Here is my selection of the most interesting looks from the runway:
The accessories were very special as well, just have a look at those hollow heels and two-toned bags livened up by multicolored fox fur:
Do you prefer this kind of more structured looks or the breezy and playful style of Alberta Ferretti's collection?
