Heading from yesterday's black and white shots towards a darker, more etherial atmosphere, the fall ad campaign for Valentino is really enchanting! Shot in what resembles a palace, the dark, twisted romance intrigues the viewer and draws him into the atmosphere. I love the blurred effects in some of the shots, they add to the mystery of the surreal scene and put a focus on the clothes more than on the models wearing them.
Allthough I'm a bit sad that they replaced Freja Beha Erichsen with some less known models, they all did a great job in capturing the essence of the garments they were wearing and managed to create an elegant portrayal of what Valentino stands for.
