Latvian model Ginta Lapina graces the cover of April's issue of Vogue Japan. Her editorial entitled The China Syndrome is a tribute to one of the major influences of this spring's collections, the Asian trend. Wearing creations by Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton or Balenciaga among others, she is quickly becoming one of my favorite models. Although all the photos are amazing, two of them really caught my attention.
I love the dark grey metallic nail polish and the exaggerated dark eye putting in evidence the fabulous earrings in the second photo. There's that Geisha-air of mystery and confidence about her in that picture. The second inspiring photo the one from her profile - simply stunning! The pale skin tone and nude lips create an alluring contrast with the black and dark red jacket and you can feel the intensity in her eyes. On another note, the metallic pink lipstick in the fourth photo is also very interesting. I wonder what you would call that shade? Without further ado, here are the photos from the shoot:
